Whereas, Reveal uses serif font which is informal and more used for gossip. Also, there are many images as the central image which is messier and more appealing to the younger generation.

4) What would be the preferred and oppositional readings to this cover of Reveal?The preferred reading of Reveal would be that it contains information about of women in the 20s-30s and gossip that could ruin famous celebrities careers. Contrarily, the oppositional reading would be that the gossip is just fake and photos are being photoshopped for publicity.

British aspects that are reflected in reveal magazine are celebrities secretly dating which some of the British population can relate to. As not all of Britain live a life filled with luxury. Also Tatler are more targeted towards posh and rich people who can't relate to reading gossip.

The cover line of Reveal show that the audience are hopeless romantics who need to read about others love life to fulfil themselves.
