Arctic Monkeys are friends who formed a band together working their way up the traditional way whereas One Direction where individual strangers who luckily got together through the help of Simon Cow gaining popularity instantly.

Arctic Monkeys record label is domino record and they were able to sell 27 million records where sold of their debut album. They choose an independent record label to keep their authenticity as a traditional band.

The internet has been both positive and negative development because the development of new technology allows us to access all types of media and information. However, this shift from traditional and modern may have been difficult to understand and process as artists no longer receive enough money from CDs as they are all listened to online.

Audience pleasures would include diversion - the song is upbeat and fast-paced.
